MSL®1000 is the pinnacle in dropstitch technology, at 1KG lighter per square meter than MSL, it utilises next generation weave technology and a super-fine fibre matrix to create a highly malleable, featherlight product.
What is MSL®? Safe. Stiff. Durable.
Monocoque Structural Laminate or MSL® is the world’s leading drop-stitch material. Exclusive to Red Paddle Co boards, it’s made to our exact specifications.
Monocoque: meaning the coating is integral to the structure. MSL® drop-stitch technology integrates a highly durable, reinforced coating to the ultra-high-definition weave to form an inseparable base layer.
Structural: the high-tensile drop-stitch fibres are designed to withstand pressures in excess of 22psi, meaning Red boards can be inflated to provide unrivalled stiffness and confidence, no matter the rider weight or prevailing conditions.
Laminate: the reinforced composite coating is bonded to the textile core using machine welding that applies heat and pressure to the inner PVC layer, saving over 2kg of adhesives and reducing cosmetic and safety concerns. Produced under low tension, this process creates a torsional stiffening effect when the boards are inflated, making MSL® stiffer at lower pressures.

MSL®1000 è l'apice della tecnologia dropstitch, con un peso di 1 kg per metro quadro in meno rispetto a MSL, utilizza una tecnologia di tessitura di nuova generazione e una matrice di fibre superfini per creare un prodotto altamente malleabile e leggero come una piuma.

Monoscocca: significa che il rivestimento è parte integrante della struttura. La tecnologia MSL® drop-stitch integra un rivestimento altamente resistente e rinforzato alla trama ad altissima definizione per formare uno strato di base inseparabile.
Strutturale: le fibre drop-stitch ad alta resistenza sono progettate per sopportare pressioni superiori a 22psi, il che significa che le tavole Red possono essere gonfiate per offrire una rigidità e una sicurezza senza pari, indipendentemente dal peso del rider o dalle condizioni prevalenti.
Laminato: il rivestimento composito rinforzato è incollato all'anima tessile mediante saldatura a macchina che applica calore e pressione allo strato interno di PVC, risparmiando oltre 2 kg di adesivi e riducendo i problemi estetici e di sicurezza. Prodotto a bassa tensione, questo processo crea un effetto di irrigidimento torsionale quando le tavole vengono gonfiate, rendendo MSL® più rigido a pressioni inferiori.
