Being 13mm shorter and 4 grams lighter than the original Pro Sensor® Automatic Inflator the Elite Inflator range also benefits from a more rounded design and improved manual lever retention.
The Pro Sensor Elite® Automatic Inflator provides additional improvement on the standard MK5 Automatic Inflator, affording the user one point of status indication to confirm that the unit has been automatically or manually activated. The unit also provides the added benefit of detecting if the Co² cylinder has been pierced, eradicating the possibility of accidentally fitting an empty gas cylinder. As with the UML MK5 Inflator the great benefit of this inflation system is the functionality of the automatic override which under normal operating conditions activate within 3 seconds of the system being submerged in water.
The automatic capsule contains a powerful spring which is compressed and retained in place using a paper element. Once the paper element becomes wet, it releases the spring which pushes a plunger forward enabling a cutter to pierce the Co² gas cylinder. The Co² gas from the cylinder instantly passes through the inflator head, inflating the lifejacket.
The product is independently approved in accordance with the ISO12402 Part 7 standard requirement for lifejackets.

Essendo più corta di 13 mm e più leggera di 4 grammi rispetto all'originale Gonfiatore automatico Pro Sensor®, la gamma Elite Inflator beneficia anche di un design più arrotondato e di una migliore ritenzione manuale della leva.
Il gonfiatore automatico Pro Sensor Elite® offre un ulteriore miglioramento al gonfiatore automatico MK5 standard, offrendo all'utente un punto di indicazione dello stato per confermare che l'unità è stata attivata automaticamente o manualmente. L'unità offre inoltre il vantaggio aggiuntivo di rilevare se la bombola di Co² è stata perforata, eliminando la possibilità di montare accidentalmente una bombola di gas vuota. Come con il Gonfiatore UML MK5, il grande vantaggio di questo sistema di gonfiaggio è la funzionalità dell'azionamento automatico che in normali condizioni operative si attiva entro 3 secondi dall'immersione in acqua del sistema.
La capsula automatica contiene una potente molla che viene compressa e mantenuta in posizione utilizzando un elemento di carta. Una volta che l'elemento di carta si bagna, rilascia la molla che spinge in avanti uno stantuffo consentendo a un cutter di perforare la bombola di gas Co². Il gas Co² dal cilindro passa istantaneamente attraverso la testa del gonfiatore, gonfiando il giubbotto di salvataggio.
Il prodotto è approvato in modo indipendente secondo i requisiti standard ISO12402 Parte 7 per i giubbotti di salvataggio.
